Château Penin Rouge Tradition Bordeaux Supérieur AOC, Bordeaux, France, is a full-bodied Red still wine crafted from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This dry, vegan and vegetarian wine undergoes cold pre-fermentation maceration, slow fermentation with an 18-day maceration, and long aging in concrete tanks for two years, followed by 12 months in bottle, with no oak ageing. It presents an appealing bouquet of violet, dark berries, strawberries, and spring flowers. The palate is round and fleshy with a juicy core of fruit and powdery tannins, leading to an easy, elegant finish. Ideal with poultry, vegetables, mixed grills, and summer salads.

Vinification

Cold pre-fermentation maceration to slowly extract aromas. Slow fermentation at low temperature with a 18 day maceration. Long aging in concrete tanks (2 years) and 12 month extra aging in bottle.
