Domaine de Fondrèche Ventoux Rouge from Ventoux, Southern Rhône, France, is a vibrant, contemporary Red (still) wine. This dry blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre undergoes traditional vinification and 18 months maturation in cuve, foudres, and egg-shaped vessels. It bursts with aromas of blackberry, ripe plum, violets, and garrigue herbs, with liquorice and black pepper. The palate is plush and juicy with velvety tannins, dark fruit, spice, and a mineral edge. A natural wine, it pairs beautifully with rich vegetarian dishes or game. Sébastien Vincenti is moving towards organic viticulture.

Vinification
Traditional vinification for 21-28 days, with gentle pigeage in order to favour slow and progressive extraction. Matured for 18 months in 1/3 cuve, 1/3 foudres, 1/3 egg shaped cuves.
