Domaine de Pallus Chinon Rouge
A vibrant Red wine with expressive red and black berry notes, refined tannins, and a mineral finish
Domaine de Pallus Chinon Rouge Chinon AOC, France. This still, dry Red wine, crafted from 100% Cabernet Franc, showcases the charm and historical character of the grape. It undergoes 8 days of maceration in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by a low temperature fermentation and 6 months of ageing in French oak barrels. On the nose, expect vibrant aromas of raspberry, cherry, and blackberry. The medium-bodied palate offers ripe fruit flavours, nuanced spice, graphite, and a touch of mineral acidity, all framed by refined tannins. A versatile companion, it pairs wonderfully with Sainte-Maure goat cheese or traditional rillons from Tours.
