Manos Negras Stone Soil Select Malbec from Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina is a still, dry Red wine crafted from 100% Malbec grapes. It undergoes 12 months of oak ageing in French barrels, with 20% new oak, contributing to its complex profile. The wine offers a deep and inviting aroma with medicinal and ripe notes. On the palate, expect a silky texture with a racy flash of acidity, showcasing excellent plum fruit, herbal hints, and wonderful structure with fig flavours on the long finish. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs exceptionally well with Lamb, Beef, and Poultry.

Vinification
Gentle de-stemming, cold maceration for 6 days at 8°C. Whole berry fermentation with natural yeasts and max. temp. 18° C. Extensive pumping over, punching down and delistage for first 10 days of fermentation. Total fermentation time of 18 days. Oak Ageing: 12 Months in French 225 Litre barrels, 100% wine oaked, 20% new oak.
Flavour profile
This Malbec offers a deep and inviting aroma with notes of eucalyptus and ripe plum. On the palate, it presents a silky texture, vibrant acidity, and excellent plum fruit, herbal hints, and a long finish with fig flavours.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 16-18°C. Decanting for 30 minutes before serving is recommended.
