Quinta da Alorna Branco Colheita Tardia Late Harvest
A sweet white wine bursting with ripe tropical fruits, floral notes, honey, and a balanced, intense finish
Quinta da Alorna Branco Colheita Tardia Late Harvest Tejo DO, Portugal, is a still, sweet white wine crafted from Fernão Pires grapes. The grapes are left to overmature in the vineyard, then undergo a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation, interrupted to achieve a perfect balance of alcohol, residual sugar, and acidity. This deep golden wine offers plentiful aromas of ripe tropical fruits, flowers, honey, and almond. Deliciously sweet and intense on the palate, it boasts a good balance of natural acidity leading to a long, pleasant finish. Rich enough for foie gras, it is also sublime with key lime pie or passionfruit. This wine is both vegan and vegetarian.

Vinification
The Fernão Pires grapes originate from a plot in Charneca that is over 30 years old. The grapes were left in the vineyard until they reached an overmatured state. They were harvested manually, selected and carefully pressed, after which they undergo a slow fermentation at a controlled temperature of 12°C. This process was then interrupted to reach the balance between alcohol, residual sugar and total acidity.
