August Kesseler The Daily August Pinot Noir VDP Gutswein, Rheingau, Germany, is a delightful Red still, dry wine crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Grapes are hand-picked and sorted, with each parcel vinified separately before being assembled and aged for 18 months in 100% new French barriques within their historic 1792 cellar. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine offers a subtle scent of cherry and blueberry, complemented by delicious aromas of blackcurrant and a hint of red pepper. Its elegant palate makes it a versatile companion, particularly with poultry and mushroom dishes.

Vinification
Grapes are hand-picked and then sorted again in the winery. Each parcel is vinified separately. Shortly before bottling the cuvée is assembled. Vinified in barriques in their double stored cellar dug out of the rock and dating from 1792. Oak Ageing: 18 Months in French Barrique, 100% wine oaked, 100% new oak.
