Azienda Agricola Montezovo Valpolicella DOC from Veneto, Italy, is a vibrant Red still wine, dry and crafted from a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes. It offers intense aromas of black cherries, bitter almonds, and ripe fruit, leading to a full-bodied palate with soft tannins and a long, satisfying aftertaste. Fermented in inert vessels with no oak ageing, this vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs beautifully with typical Mediterranean recipes.

Vinification
The harvest usually starts at the end of September. Grapes are selected and hand-picked. The grapes are destemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in inert vessels and lasts about 15/20 days. Temperature is controlled during the whole phase and remains between 20 and 24° C. Once the fermentation is finished, the wine is run off its skins, and goes into inert vessels for a few months remaining on its lees until bottling.
Flavour profile
This Valpolicella offers intense aromas of black cherries, complemented by hints of bitter almonds and ripe fruit. It is full-bodied with soft tannins, leading to a long and satisfying aftertaste.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 14-16°C. Best enjoyed upon opening.
