Casa Marin Pinot Noir, Litoral Vineyard from San Antonio Valley, Chile is a vibrant Red still wine. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, this dry wine is a testament to cool climate winemaking. Fermented with natural yeasts and aged for 12 months in old French oak, it develops complexity and structure. Expect bright cherry, red berry, and cranberry aromas, framed by subtle smoky notes. The palate is persistent with firm acidity, carrying the red fruit through a long finish. It pairs beautifully with cured meats, slow-roasted lamb, or pork chops from the BBQ. This wine is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Vinification
Grapes are manually sorted by hand, leaving behind unwanted green materials. No crushing, just de-stemming. The must is cold macerated before fermentation for 3 days. Spontaneous fermentation at 24 - 25°C which lasted 10 days. Three punch downs per day by hand. Before fermentation is completed the wine is transferred by gravity into the French barrels where the lees are stirred for one months. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine is kept for 12 months in old French oak. The wine is oaked for 12 months in French oak, with 100% of the wine oaked and no new oak used.
Flavour profile
This serious Pinot Noir offers bright aromas of cherry, red berry, and cranberry, complemented by hints of smoky peat. The palate is vibrant and persistent, echoing the red fruit with a firm, refreshing acidity.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 14-16°C. Decant for 30 minutes to enhance aromas if desired.
