Vinification
Slightly over 5 hectares on soils ranging from sandy-loam to gravel located partially on a hillside. The yields at Château Treytins are limited by Double Guyot pruning as well as bud removal. Leaf removal and crop thinning are carried out too when necessary. On arrival at the winery the grapes are sorted on a vibrating table. Vinification in temperature controlled in stainless steal vats. Fermentation is followed by a long maceration. The wine is matured for 18 months in air conditioned cellars and is bottled on site.
