Domaine Grand Veneur Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge, Le Miocene from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, France, is a still Red, dry wine, organically crafted from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. Hand-harvested, Grenache ages in concrete, while Syrah and Mourvèdre mature in second and third-use French oak barrels. This wine displays an intense dark-ruby hue, offering uplifting aromas of ripe black and red fruits, spice box, and garrigue. The medium to full-bodied palate features firm tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long finish with mineral and peppery undertones, pairing wonderfully with roast lamb, venison, braised beef, or mushroom-stuffed poultry.

Vinification
Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and gently crushed. Fermentation takes place at around 30 °C with 18-20 days of maceration. The Grenache is mostly raised in concrete vats, while Syrah and Mourvèdre see time in second and third-use oak barrels before blending.
