Domaine Klur Les Katz, 'La Reine' Pinot Gris from Alsace, France. This certified organic, vegan and vegetarian white still wine is semi-sweet, crafted from Pinot Gris grapes. Hand-harvested and slowly pressed, it undergoes alcoholic fermentation in casks with natural yeasts, teasing out minerality and fullness, with minimal sulphur at bottling. It presents a round, tempting straw yellow hue, with an elegant, flowery nose hinting at acacia and lime. The palate is smooth and fresh, echoing exotic lime notes and leading to a sweet fruit finish. A versatile choice, it pairs beautifully with white meats like chicken and pork, as well as scallops and pan-fried salmon.

Vinification
Harvested by hand and slowly press during 6 hours, we start the vinification with a very pure juice. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out in casks with natural yeasts helping to tease out the minerality and fullness of the wine. Only minimal use of sulphur is required during bottling to conserv the freshness and aromas of the wine.
Flavour profile
This round and tempting white wine offers an elegant, flowery nose with distinct hints of acacia and lime. The palate is smooth and fresh, echoing exotic lime notes and culminating in a delightful sweet fruit finish, making for a truly classy glass of Pinot Gris.
