Largesse Merlot Pays d'Oc IGP, Languedoc, France, is a smooth, full-bodied Red still wine that is delightfully dry. Crafted from 100% Merlot grapes, 30% of the blend is matured in old American oak for at least six months, imparting subtle notes of nutmeg and pepper spice. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine bursts with lusciously ripe raspberry, blackberry, and black cherry flavours, offering elegance in every sip. It pairs wonderfully with hearty steaks, a selection of tapas, or a platter of mature hard cheeses.

Vinification
This cuvée is traditionally processed, after de-stemming and crushing, the grapes undergo a 15 days to 3 weeks maceration in inox and concrete tanks. The temperature is controlled at around 26°C. 30% of the blend is fermented and matured with old American oak for at least 6 months.
Flavour profile
This lusciously ripe Merlot bursts with rich raspberry, blackberry, and black cherry flavours. These are beautifully balanced by subtle notes of nutmeg and pepper spice from oak ageing, delivering a smooth, full-bodied red with elegance in every sip.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for an hour to allow its rich fruit and spice notes to fully develop.
