Grandes Pagos Gallegos, Quinta de Couselo Turonia Rías Baixas DO, Galicia, Spain, is a vibrant White (still) wine. Crafted from 100% Albariño grapes, it undergoes a short skin maceration and four months of ageing on fine lees, contributing to its creamy texture. This dry wine offers intense aromas of royal gala apples, sweet lemon, bitter orange jam, and delicate floral notes. The palate is fresh, balanced, and juicy with apple and pear, leading to a creamy, intense finish with a long-lasting oceanic saline minerality. It is neither natural, vegan, nor vegetarian. This versatile wine is excellent with lean fish, shellfish, or light appetizers.

75.0CL , 12.5% ABV , Vintage: 2023

Vinification

Immediately before arrival at the winery, the grapes are subjected to temperature control by cold storage transport at 5°C. A vibrating sorting table selects the best fruit bunch by bunch. The whole grapes are destemmed and given a short maceration with skins prior to pressing. Separation of musts. Static racking. Temperature-controlled fermentation. Ageing on fine lees for 4 months. Clarification, stabilization and sterile filtration prior to bottling in May/June.
